We arrived drenched, having escaped the ire of some very territorial goats, to Rifugio Puez, a busy, “bare bones” hostel with four sets of bunk beds per room. It was a welcome sight nonetheless. We changed out of our wet clothes, enjoyed a warm meal and shared photos and thoughts from our first day.
